Today Windows 95 and MSN turn 10 years old. Nathan Weinberg calls it "the first time the average person realized computers could actually be useful in the home."

Our first PC actually had Windows 98 on it (the first computer we ever had was a Mac Centris 610, then our next one... like 6 years later, was a Pentium 2 450 Mhz with Windows 98 on it), so my experience with Windows 98 is non existent. I can't recall being an MSN customer, either.

Edit: This entry was somehow posted twice. Not sure why that's happening, but sorry about that (and sorry if it sent two trackbacks!). Thanks.

Edit 2: Microsoft Watch notes that it has also been 10 years since Internet Explorer 1.0 was launched.
