10/18: States Officially File to Extend Oversight; Mention Silverlight

California, Connecticut, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Massachusetts and the District of Columbia have officially filed a request to extend government oversight of Microsoft another 5 years. One of the issues they bring up is the possibility that Microsoft would use the next Windows release to "tilt the playing field" toward Silverlight. Todd Bishop has the story.
