With the U.S. Coast Guard planning to call off its search for computer scientist Jim Gray early this morning, his friends have vowed to mount their own search for the missing boater using high-tech gadgetry, according to officials.
Employees of Google Earth were already reviewing their satellite map images of the area in hope of finding some sign of Gray's 40-foot vessel, the Tenacious.
